- Philippines generates a staggering 2.7 million tons of plastic waste every year? That's a huge amount! Unfortunately, around 20% of this waste finds its way into the sea, making the Philippines the world's third largest producer of plastic waste. It's a pressing issue that needs attention. One significant contributor to this problem is the Pasig River. With its rich history and significance to the country, it's disheartening to see it become a source of pollution. Together, we can work towards finding innovative solutions to reduce plastic waste and preserve the natural beauty of this incredible nation.

Here are ways to prevent the risk of Plastic Waste around each community
- Reduce Plastic Usage:
Use stuff like metal or glass bottles instead of plastic ones. Also, grab those reusable cloth bags for shopping and choose products that aren't overly wrapped in plastic. It helps cut down on the need for plastic.

- Recycle:
Remember to recycle your plastics. Just follow what your local waste people say about it. Also, keep a separate bin for plastic trash so it can get recycled properly.

- Educate and Raise Awareness:
Tell your pals about how bad plastic is for the environment. Share posts on social media or maybe even do a little talk in your community about using less plastic. Get the word out!
